Get ready to ignite your child's creativity and passion for the performing arts at the Independent Theatre Workshop (ITW) Summer Camps! Our camps are now on sale, running from June 19th to August 4th, and we have something for everyone in three convenient locations: Clonskeagh, Ranelagh, and Drumcondra.
For our youngest campers, aged 3-7 years, we have the magical Creative Kids Camps. They can dive into an exciting underwater adventure or explore the enchanted forest, climbing treetops and unlocking their imagination. The possibilities are endless! With morning sessions from 9am to 12.30pm, Monday to Friday, children will enjoy dancing, drama, arts and crafts, dressing up, singing, puppetry, and much more. These camps are designed to build confidence, social skills, communication, musicality, balance, vocabulary, and imagination through structured play and make-believe.
Camp Broadway is the place to be for our 7-13-year-olds. Each week is a different musical journey, where they'll learn about a new show every day! From Disney classics to Broadway favorites like Frozen, Annie, Wicked, Matilda, and more, our themed weeks will have the kids singing, dancing, and acting their hearts out. Our talented team of instructors will guide them every step of the way, ensuring they have a blast while honing their skills.
For our Senior and Young Adult students 13-18yrs old, we have special Musical Theatre performance weeks. In June, we have a Mamma Mia themed week, and in August, the course is inspired by The Addams Family, both of which are almost sold out! Due to high demand, we've added an additional week based on the Star Kid Musical, "The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals!" in July. These intense weeks include auditions on Monday, followed by fast-paced rehearsals of singing, dancing, and acting throughout the week. The culmination of their hard work will be showcased in a staged production for friends and family on Friday afternoon. Our team of experienced choreographers, directors, singing coaches, and teachers will help your child find their inner Broadway star.
Our Dancers have a fabulous weekend intensive planned for the end of June. During the intensive they will take class in multiple different specialised styles with Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, lyrical, Commercial and more!
On Sunday evening you will get to perform a combination of all the styles you worked on over the weekend!
